The World Needs Dialogue
A three-day gathering bringing together thought leaders, creators, innovators, scientists and philosophers to explore the transformative power of Dialogue in a fragmented world.
Inspired by the work of physicist David Bohm, the summit will explore Dialogue not simply as conversation or debate, but as a disciplined process of shared inquiry that enables people with diverse perspectives and belief systems to think together. Through deep listening, the suspension of assumptions, participatory consciousness and collective inquiry, Dialogue opens the possibility of generating new perception, deeper understanding and creative insight.
The programme will examine the nature of human consciousness and our relationship to one another and the wider cosmos, exploring how Dialogue can become a practical pathway towards personal, collective and cultural transformation.
- Bohmian Dialogue practice facilitated by experienced practitioners, exploring suspension, participatory consciousness and collective intelligence.
- Conversations and dialogues with leading philosophers, physicists, cosmologists and other pioneering thinkers.
- Small-group inquiry circles between plenary sessions, enabling participants to engage more deeply with the ideas and with one another.
"Suppose we were to share meaning freely without the compulsive urge to impose our view or conform to those of others and without distortion and self-deception. Would this not constitute a real revolution in culture?"
